Windle Ewing and his wife Donna have shared their home with English Springer Spaniels for over 30 years.  They currently live with two Springers – Darcie and Bryce – in Plano, Texas.

Windle first became involved with agility in 1999 when he volunteered as a ring steward for his local breed club’s trial.  As he continued to volunteer at succeeding trials, he became increasingly curious and intrigued with the sport, and in 2003, Windle decided to “get in the game” with his two English Springer Spaniels, Lucie and Simon.  Over the next ten years, Lucie and Simon earned multiple titles in four venues and were recognized within their breed for their accomplishments in agility.

Windle continues to compete with Darcie, who is a Simon daughter. He was also fortunate and honored to have run Brady, a good friend’s Border Collie, for several years. Windle has started training his youngest Springer Bryce for agility competition.  Look for Bryce to make his debut in the near future.

Windle has served as an AKC agility judge since 2009, and he was invited to judge at the 2013 AKC Agility Invitational in Orlando, Florida.  He enjoys traveling to different areas of the country and getting to know fellow exhibitors and their dogs.
